Welcome

Hi. Welcome to my blog. I'm new to this, so I hardly know where to start. I actually got into this by reading blogs from Saudi Arabia, the country I spent the last six years in. Now I'm in Egypt, by the way, soon to move to Kuwait, which should explain the desert connection. Why desert rose? I don't know! Someone showed me a desert rose when I was very young and impressionable, and I guess I always felt that there was some kind of magic attached to them. You know, something along the lines of, how could something so beautiful and strange grow out of barren desert lands.
